We are excited to announce that Jan Gardner will be running a workshop called LOVE COLOUR (a mixed water based media experience!) on 13 September. 10.30 to 3.30.

This workshop will encompass an introduction to a range of effects in order to create an individual, expressive piece of work.

Morning…

Using colour in an individual way.

Types of mixed media & effects on paper.

Working with colour & mark making.

Mono types for collage.

Making coloured grounds.

After a break …

We will use participants’ own reference material (sketch books, own inspiration, poem, prose, song) and explore our own imaginations and flow of ideas from the morning to plan and explore a piece on watercolour paper.

If participants can please bring all their own water based materials (watercolour, ink, acrylics etc) and cartridge and watercolour paper. Jan can supply other materials at cost.
